Previous YearsThe Freedom to Create Prize began in 2008, and the awards ceremony was held in the Swiss Re building in London. In 2009 the increasing number of entries and growing recognition of the prize demanded a larger stage, accordingly the awards ceremony was held at the prestigious Victoria & Albert Museum.
