Lorenzo Moscia

For Lorenzo, his collection represents a decade-long journey deep in Latin America's social intimacies. His work features images from Cuba, Haiti, Chile, Easter Island and Brazil. The common thing about the pictures is that they are all on the same continent and show Lorenzo's strongest passion: to be part of a family, social group or tribe where he can take pictures without invading. That has allowed him to show intimate realities that are not normally for public consumption - living with a family in Easter Island, sharing the feelings of loneliness in Haiti, sharing food and wine with a family in south Chile or with people inside a favela in Brazil or inside a house in Cuba. Lorenzo says, "they have all taught me the feeling of been part of a reality they experience."
