Our 2010 Exhibitions

2010 - Cairo

25 November - 11 December 2010
Cairo Opera House, Egypt

The 2010 Freedom to Create Prize Exhibition was held at the Cairo Opera House from 25 November till 11 December 2010, before touring the world in 2011.

The Freedom to Create Prize Exhibition is a physical manifestation of how creativity is being used to affect social change around the world. It addresses the importance of empowering dreams to transform lives, and celebrates the power of the arts for confronting barriers to creativity and prosperity.

The 2010 Exhibition featured works by highly commended entrants for this year's Freedom to Create Prize, bringing messages of courage, unity, strength, reconciliation, healing and hope from around the world to new audiences.

The Exhibition also offers participating artists an opportunity to share their work with the rest of the world. Resonating among members of the global art world and humanitarian sectors, previous Freedom to Create exhibitions have toured London, New York, Harare and Kabul.
