Out of the 113 neighbourhoods in Fortaleza, Brazil, 87 contain favelas. Youths living in these areas have little or no access to education. This institution offers a unique strategy through which dance is used to deliver access to education, health and nutrition services.

The education programme culminates in a public dance performance where the youths are able to express to neighbouring communities, their self-worth and place in society.
