Ronit Agassi

Ronit has transformed fall leaves by perforating a myriad of images on their surface. From baby prams, to armed conflict, from a girl on a swing, to assault helicopters, 'The Last Leaf' collection is an interesting fusion of the decorative innocence of the leaves with representations of violent, military and political oppression. In this respect, 'The Last Leaf' strives to be the first leaf of insight and wisdom. Ronit believes himself to be neither radically pessimistic nor extremely optimistic, but rather diagnostic in his work.
